Hello, I’m Kaitlyn!
I’ve been in love with words since I could hold a pencil.
When I was five, I wrote short stories about talking animals for my parents. I didn’t know it then, but I was already learning how stories can make people pause, smile, and see the world differently.
That early fascination never went away. Over the years I became just as intrigued by poetry as by headlines, as curious about scientific studies as I was about speeches that move a room. I discovered that good writing can bridge the gap between data and feeling… and that bridge is where real connection happens.
What I Do Today
I help founders, startups, and socially minded teams turn their ideas into words that spark trust and action.
Whether it’s a brand’s origin story, a leader’s thought-leadership article, a video script that stirs emotion, or a blog that teaches and converts, I focus on making every piece sound clear, human, and memorable.
I believe writing is most powerful when it doesn’t feel like marketing copy at all and instead sounds like one person talking to another.
How I Work
Clients often come to me feeling stuck: a blank homepage, a draft that never feels right, or a head full of thoughts they can’t find time to write down.
My job is to listen closely, ask the right questions, and pull the heartbeat of the story into words that feel authentic to them.
Most projects start with a free 20-minute consultation where we talk about their goals and voice. From there, I set a timeline and deliver copy with two rounds of revisions included. Clear communication, curiosity, and respect for deadlines guide everything I do.
A Few Things That Shape Me
I’ve written for a wide range of publications — from lifestyle columns to tech features — including USA Today, The Independent, Rolling Stone, Village Voice, San Diego Reader, VentureBeat, Greensboro News & Record, and ExecMag.
That variety taught me how to switch tones, understand audiences quickly, and find the human angle in every subject.
Outside of work, I’m often tending my hydroponic plants, reading science-fiction, or exploring psychology and technology, all of which feed my curiosity and creativity.
Why It Matters
I believe that words can open doors: to understanding, to empathy, to opportunity. My goal is to help brands and leaders use words not just to inform but to invite people in and create connection that lasts.
If you have an idea worth sharing, I’d love to help you tell the story that makes people lean in, believe, and act.
